Acceptance of Terms

By making a reservation at Hostal Estadio Nacional, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Please read them carefully before formalizing your reservation.

Reservations

  • All reservations must be formalized via email (with proof of payment) and/or through the website's reservation request system.
  • Entry or reservation is not allowed for people who have not formalized their reservation officially. We do not accept walk-in reservations without prior coordination.
  • Only full room reservations are allowed. We do not offer individual bed reservations.
  • Once you contact us, we will send you a quote for your stay that must be confirmed with the corresponding payment.

Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: from 14:00 to 23:30.
  • Check-out: until 12:00.
  • Check-in outside the established hours is subject to additional charges and must be coordinated in advance with the hostel staff.
  • If check-out is later than the allowed time, an additional day will be charged.
  • A valid identification document (passport or ID card) is required at check-in.

Cancellation Policy

Formalized reservations are non-refundable. Before confirming your reservation, make sure the dates and services selected are correct.

  • No refunds are given for cancellations, regardless of the reason or advance notice.
  • Check-in and check-out dates can be changed as long as availability allows, but there are no refunds for price differences.
  • To add more people or services to an already formalized reservation, you will only pay the corresponding difference.

Direct Booking Priority

During high-demand periods (concerts, sporting events, and other major events at the National Stadium), reservations made directly through our website and/or e-mail will have priority over reservations made through third-party platforms (such as Booking.com or similar).

  • Direct bookings are guaranteed and will not be affected by high-demand adjustments for this case.
  • Reservations made through third-party platforms may be subject to cancellation during high-demand periods if capacity needs to be managed. In such cases, the guest will be notified in advance.
  • To ensure your reservation during event dates, we strongly recommend booking directly through our website at hostalestadionacional.cl or by contacting us via email.

Payments

  • We accept cash (Chilean pesos CLP and US dollars USD), bank transfer, and debit/credit cards.
  • For 1-night reservations: 100% payment is required in advance.
  • For 2 or more nights: 100% payment or 50% deposit is required, with the remaining 50% to be paid upon arrival at the hostel.
  • Foreign guests with a valid passport and tourist card can access the VAT exemption (19%) according to Chilean law.

House Rules

  • Ordering and consuming delivery food inside the hostel is prohibited. We offer various meal options on our premises.
  • Quiet hours: from 23:00 to 07:00. Please keep noise to a minimum out of respect for other guests.
  • Smoking is not allowed inside rooms or enclosed common areas of the hostel.
  • The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the facilities, furniture, or equipment during their stay.
  • External visitors are not allowed in rooms without prior authorization from management.

Pets

We are pet-friendly. Pets are allowed with an additional cost of $10,000 CLP per night per pet. The guest is responsible for their pet's behavior and any damage it may cause. Pets must not disturb other guests.

Parking

We have private parking with limited capacity (5 spaces). For guests, the cost is $10,000 CLP per day, subject to availability. For non-guests, the cost is $10,000 CLP for 2 hours. The hostel is not responsible for damage or theft to parked vehicles.

Accessibility

We comply with the universal accessibility standards established in Law No. 20.422. The hostel has ramps and accessible bathrooms for people with disabilities. However, our hostel is not designed nor does it operate as a medical care center or high-dependency facility. Any special requirements must be disclosed when making your reservation so we can evaluate feasibility.

Right of Admission

Hostal Estadio Nacional reserves the right of admission and permanence in its facilities, in accordance with current Chilean regulations (Law 19.496 on Consumer Protection and applicable Sernatur regulations). This right will be exercised in an objective and non-discriminatory manner, and admission may be denied or a stay terminated in the following cases:

  • Arrival without a prior confirmed reservation (our policy requires a reservation formalized in advance).
  • Non-compliance with the internal rules of the establishment.
  • Behavior that disrupts the coexistence, safety, or tranquility of other guests.
  • When the guest requires medical attention, nursing, supervision, or permanent 24/7 care that exceeds the operational capabilities of the hostel. We are not a health center, long-term care residence, or specialized care service.
  • When the guest does not have a responsible companion or caretaker capable of assisting with all basic needs of mobility, meals, medication, and personal safety.

Guest Self-Sufficiency Requirements

To ensure a safe stay consistent with the nature of the service offered:

  • Every guest must be capable of independently performing basic daily activities, or must be accompanied by a responsible caretaker present throughout the entire stay.
  • Reservations or check-ins are not accepted for individuals who require continuous medical assistance, supervised administration of complex medications, or permanent supervision.
  • If a guest arrives without a reservation or with needs not previously disclosed, the hostel may deny entry without any liability.

In cases where a guest's needs exceed our capabilities, the hostel will prioritize the guest's safety and recommend referral to specialized services (SENAMA, health services, or appropriate care facilities). In case of medical emergency, standard protocols will be activated (SAMU emergency call), without this implying the provision of continuous care.

Liability

Hostal Estadio Nacional is not responsible for lost or misplaced valuable items on the premises. We recommend not leaving valuables unattended. In case of emergency, hostel staff will provide necessary assistance within their capabilities.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Modifications will take effect upon publication on the website. The version in effect at the time of your reservation will apply to your stay.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions form an integral part of the accommodation contract. By making a reservation or checking into the hostel, the guest and/or their representative expressly accept these policies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of justice in Santiago, Chile.
